Born in the city of Lagos Nigeria, Falilu Adekunbi is graduate of Fisheries and aquatic science with Honours at the Lagos State University. In 2012, he bagged a Master degree with Distinction in marine sciences with specialization in pollution management at the University of Lagos. He is currently a second- year PhD student in the Department of Marine Sciences at the University of Lagos Nigeria. Until date Falilu is a Researcher at the Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research (NIOMR) where he conducts research on Nigerian marine and coastal system in the Chemical & Physical Oceanography Department.
