Sarah Paradis completed her PhD in Environmental Science and Technology at ICTA-UAB, focusing on the impacts of deep bottom fish trawling on the seafloor. Her research assessed the erosion caused by trawling gear, changes in sediment transport processes, and their effects on organic carbon biogeochemistry. She obtained her degree in Environmental Sciences at UAB in 2014 and pursued a joint Master's in Oceanography and Marine Environmental Management at UB and UPC
